My buying experience from Crutchfield was positive, but if I didn't need to fill this with photos and send it to my mother for Christmas ASAP, I'd send it back. The image clarity stinks. The pixel pitch (distance between pixels, less is better) is so large you can actually see the matrix (grid) that makes up the pixels. The manual doesn't tell you what the actual resolution is, but it's so low that diagonal lines are aliased (not smooth). Finally it has a bizarre display size; it's 6 inches wide by 3.25 inches high. No camera takes photos with that aspect ratio, so to fit the whole display, photos are cropped in strange ways. This unit does have a lot of choices for how to display photos, but with such poor image quality, who cares?
