Pros:Functional, useful, reliable
Cons:Sometimes bump side buttons with cups, dogs like to eat mouse
The Bottom Line: Great keyboard and mouse combo. Logitech gets it right with this one!
I have had many cordless desktop products from Logitech, and this ones is the best I have had yet. I like the design of the keyboard, as it is very functional and well laid out. It is useful having special function buttons, zoom, media player, documents buttons in easy to use places.
I did once have to open the keyboard up, because my son dipped it in water and it didn't work anymore. I simply dried up the contacts and panels inside, and the keyboard is again working well.
The rubbery coating is nice, makes for a better feel. All the buttons work well, and are easy to press. I had one keyboard where the space bar broke, and that made it very difficult to type. I have also had a cheaper off brand of keyboard and the keys where so poorly made it was most difficult to even type anything. Logitech is great at these products.
The mouse is fantastic. The laser is far better then the old optical mouse design. I like the feel of how the mouse fits perfect in my hand. I don't use the extra buttons on the mouse, but they seem to be good quality as well.
I like the feature that allows the mouse and keyboard to tell you that you need to replace the batteries. It even gives you about a weeks time of notice before you lose all your juice. I like not having to rush for more batteries at a moment when I am probably already rushing, funny how that always happens.
The wheel on the mouse is very easy to use, on thing that all Logitech mice seem to share. The wheel is great. My dog liked it too, and chewed on it, but it still works to this day.
