Good for use at home, last year

Pros:Good price at the time of purchase, minimal problems with system functions.
Cons:Bigger hard drives and faster processors are now offered at about the same price.
The Bottom Line: This one was a good buy when I got it last year. I would recommend looking for something a bit faster and bigger in the same price range.

I bought this computer last summer and I have had few problems with it. A few times, in the middle of an application, the computer has decided that it should restart and did just that. But other than that I few complaints. I've recently decided to upgrade but feel that this system is good for people looking for a reasonable home computer.

A 15G hard drive has been enough, I download MP3 files often and other than the fact that it runs a bit slower when downloading, it has been able to cope nicely with more than half of the hard drive full. The CD writer is also good, I don't use the software that it came with to write though because it doesn't support MP3 files, but I found a reasonably inexpensive one to use instead.

The computer came with a 15" monitor, keyboard and mouse. The set up was easy, right to the point. I would say that I have had a good experience with this system, although I wish they would have included a secondary bay to add a second CD drive or something later on.

Games have loaded and the graphics have been good. Sometimes I get jumpy or delayed pictures while playing but its rare. I have only loaded two games onto the hard drive, but the experiences so far have been good.

I have nothing against this computer except for the fact that you can get much more (bigger hard drives, faster processors) for around the same price lately. Many computers are coming with printers now, which this one did not. It kind of saddened me that just one year has passed with this much difference in what you can get, but I suppose that will be the case most every year.

So, I would have recommended it last year, if I would have gotten around to it, but I like to procrastinate, so I no longer can do that. And I'm mad now that I could have waited a bit and gotten more for my money. So because of that...you can do better!
