My two year old daughter loves playing with tea sets and everything to do with little tiny tea cups. During her infancy I had picked up the Tupperware Disney Princess Tea Set for her from a friend who is a Tupperware representative. This was a product on her list of "to be discontinued" and she was able to sell me a brand new set for under $10. The Tupperware price was around $20 and if you are looking for this today you most likely have to search auction sites and play at least this price.

About the Tupperware Mini Disney Princess Tea Set

From Tupperware this Mini Disney Princess Tea Set is their take on a little girl's tea party. The set includes the following pieces:

-pink ice tea pitcher with a lid.
-4 pink tea cups with Disney princesses
-4 tiny purple saucers

This set is sized for a little girl to play with and is just perfect for my two year old daughter and her friends to play with. The pitcher is a kid-sized replica of our large Tupperware pitchers and can hold real beverages (I recommend water if you are letting your little girl take a turn at pouring the drinks out). The pitcher is about 5 inches tall and has a 10 ounce capacity. The tiny little plastic cups hold about a shot's worth of liquid in them and are only 2 inches high. Best of all they have Disney Princesses adorning them (Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and Cinderella). The saucers are pale purple and about 3" in diameter, they are very flat so your tea cup has a sturdy base to set upon. Because these are actual Tupperware quality products you can even pop them in the dishwasher (top shelf) to clean them up if they are used with actual liquids in them or get dusty.

My daughter loves to play with her tea sets, though she usually refers to it as making coffee since we drink more coffee than tea in this house. She just loves to do pretend play and serve either myself or her Daddy some coffee. This set is absolutely a perfect size for her to manipulate with ease and hold in her little hands. Because the Tupperware Disney Princess Mini Tea Set has untraditional styling it lends itself to all sorts of play beyond the traditional "tea party". My daughter keeps the pitcher from this set inside her play fridge just like we have a Tupperware Ice Tea pitcher in ours. She loves having her own little version, just her size. The cups are frequently put into her kitchen playtime rotation as well as the little purple plates. All of the pieces in this set are virtually unbreakable and will last a long time. The only thing that may fade from frequent washing would be the princesses on the teacups which appears to be showing a few signs of fading but nothing to the detriment of play.

Based on my daughter's enjoyment of this teaset and how much it gets played with when she has friends over (boys and girls alike) I would give this set 5 stars. Unfortunately, Tupperware discontinued this - so for the wild goose chase that you will have to go through to hunt one down (especially if you want brand new) I have to knock my rating down just a little bit.
