Miserably Misleading Advertising and RUDE Customer Service!

This is my very first review with Epinions.com, but I am so upset about Heartland America, it was worth going to the effort to register just so I could gain some satisfaction.
From Epinions.com I was directed to the Heartland America website to purchase a Yamaha Champagne digital drum set for my granddaughter. I believe I read every word of the description, including the Free Shipping special on this item, and this was an Epinions.com trusted site, so I ordered it. The next day, my wife ordered the identical drum set for her grandchild but, even though the Epinions.com ad still had the free shipping date on it, and we were within the date, they refused to give us free shipping, claiming that it had expired. However, it seemed like a good deal, so my wife purchased the drum set also.
Wow...what a surprise when I opened the shipping box to see in big, black lettering: REFURBISHED. When I called Heartland America I was told that "I" didn't read the website closely enough and "if" I had scrolled all the way to the bottom of the description page I would have seen a disclaimer. In essence, the "return specialist" was telling me it was my fault! She was rude and accusatory. I have never received such miserable service and such misleading merchandise ads as this exchange with Heartland America. Both my wife and I are returning the merchandise immediately -- even though WE have to pay the return shipping. Never Again, Heartland!!
