Discount golf products, good customer service, fair shipping rates

My husband and best friend are golf addicts, and with a summer of golf come empty pocketbooks. The clubs and other golfing supplies can be very expensive, as well as the fees to play 18 holes. Our friend has been purchasing clubs from Rock Bottom Golf for two years now, and convinced us to give them a try.
The website loads very quickly, despite the home page being plastered with picture after picture. In fact, if this site didn't come highly recommended to me, I would be turned off at first glance.
The site is, in a word, cluttered. It's almost overwhelming. They are attempting to post as many pictures of golf products as can possibly fit on the page.
If I see an item on the home page I am interested in, a simple click on the picture takes me to a page describing the item, listing "their" price as well as the "Rock Bottom" price. There's usually a large discrepancy between the two prices, with RBG being significantly cheaper.
To give you an idea of how much you can save at Rock Bottom Golf, they have a men's titanium driver for retail of $360, but their price is $220. Comparing other online stores for this driver, some companies are charging $300 (listing an inflated retail price of $390). Our experience has proven that the prices at Rock Bottom Golf are indeed really good values, not inflated prices lowered to look attractive.
The drop down menu at the top of the home page allows you to do a specific brand search, listed in alphabetical order. Most of the major brands are available to choose from.
Navigating the website is easy, and the search results are quite accurate. When I did a search for a ladies petite driver (I am only 5' 2"), the results page listed all ladies drivers. Many of them had an "options" menu next to the club, listing the length in inches. The results also let you choose clubs based on the angle and the flex. There are a lot of ways to customize your clubs with their search feature.
Shipping isn't out of sight like some online companies. We live in Alaska, and almost every time a company has a free shipping offer, it does not apply to Alaska. Rock Bottom Golf does honor this deal to Alaskans, however, although they don't guarantee the merchandise will arrive in the same time frame as the lower 48 states. When I find a company who offers free shipping to Alaska and Hawaii, and doesn't gouge on their rates, I honor them with my business.
We have ordered individual clubs and drivers from RBG, and they have always arrived on schedule, and in perfect condition. I was afraid they might be "seconds", but we have had zero problems with the clubs we have purchased here.
I have called their customer service numerous times, and although I am often put on hold, they are very helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. (I don't particularly care for the loud music I have to listen to while I'm on hold, but that's a small price to pay).
In addition to the free shipping specials they run from time to time, they also offer cash off coupon codes that save you money. The more you spend the more you save.

Rock Bottom Golf is a name that is thrown around a LOT in our household. We have never had any bad experiences with them, and have never had to return any items due to inferior products. I highly recommend them.
