Newegg.com is the Amazon.com"of the genre--it offers rebates, combo and shipping deals, just as the latter, and returns are easy. Of course, their specialty is computer and electronic "stuff." You know--the stuff WE want.
I've ordered from Newegg.com dozens of times. A recent order was that of a motherboard and cpu combo--a $99 deal that has netted me my current Athlon 64 3400+ processor and ECS KN1 Lite motherboard. The cpu was a "pull," and not a "boxed" one (new, with the manufacturer's fan). As it happened, this one came with some bent pins. Not wanting to deal with broken pins (by trying to straighten them), I simply applied for a return authorization, and breezed through the process--they paid for the return shipping. In exchange, I received another cpu, which I installed without problems.
Newegg.com has great prices and specials-I also recently acquired Quake 4 for $9.99-and you can sign up for their e-mail newsletter, which informs you of specials and deals. I also haven't experienced any problems with their rebates. It's like shopping in a brick-and-mortar store, but with the ease and convenience of an online format. You can search by the following criteria--clearance, combo specials, free shipping, etc.; more than enough to keep you checking them nearly every day.
One of Newegg.com's greatest features is its huge database of customer reviews. When considering a new processor, cpu, or just about any component, I can usually search this and find a plethora of detailed reviews, by knowledgeable users, that often includes which combination of components they used, and how it all worked together. As you can imagine, this has been enormously helpful, and has taken the guesswork and worry out of a lot of purchases, as well as being educational. I also get honest feedback on how Newegg.com handled their returns, if something had gone awry, but I almost always see consisently, very high ratings, mirroring my own experience.

Shipping is via FedEx and UPS. That's convenient for me, since both are located in my neighborhood, should I not be home for the reception (and they're pretty reliable). I've had other companies leave brand-new electronic equipment right in front of my door (in an apartment complex), as well as other items.

Newegg.com recently polled users over whether they could appreciate "will-call" pickup--a service they haven't previously offered. I voted for it, even though it would be $7 (and because they're located only 20 minutes away from me). As it's turned out, I have continued to use their convenient and reasonable to-my-door shipping, but I like having options in a pinch. The last time I looked, I couldn't find this option, but I appreciate a retailer which takes the time to discover its customers' preferences. Stay-tuned.
Newegg also has a link to resources offered by manufacturer's, such as a memory guide from Kingston, and processor identification guides, from Intel and AMD, as well as online forums for technical problems. You could find them, easily enough, on your own, but I know a lot of less tech-savvy individuals who could benefit from this feature.

Newegg.com is awesome! They keep the deals coming, keep you informed of them, provide great follow-up should any prolems occur, and even poll customers for their preferences, and their customer reviews are incredibly helpful. Who could ask for more in an online computer and electronics retailer?
