My experience with Land's End Catalog and online ordering has been great! I am a serious clearance and sale shopper. Naturally I navigate to the special priced items. One year they sent out a clearance catalog at Christmas time. I ordered over the phone because my computer's popup blocker was giving me a fit and I couldn't see when the message saying that an item was out of stock. I called the catalog number and the customer service agent was more than happy to check the availability of colors and sizes on several different items. Recently I found a kid's size chart that could be printed out to properly determine which shoe size to order. That was a big help to me since sizes are different in athletic shoes and dress shoes. I actually found the pair of shoes I wanted in the clearance section.
The quality of the shoes impressed me. They are still being worn and have not come apart or shown excessive wear. I will order from them for all my children's shoe needs. I ordered a coat and a handbag as part of the shoe order. Those two items were not what I wanted. All I had to do was apply the postage paid sticker included on my package and send the items back. They will then deduct $7.50 from my refund total. It couldn't be any simpler. My refund was applied to my credit card in a timely manner. Land's End will put your name on a waiting list if there is an item on backorder. Your credit card will not be charged until the item is shipped. They will monogram most any item in the catalog. Just be sure of the size since those items can't be returned. The quality of the merchandise and the customer service make this a great place to shop online or by mail.
