I have two teenage boys who are very hard on their glasses. Between the two of them, I end up replacing at least a couple of pairs of glasses every year so I was very happy to find Zenni Optical Online Store.
The first time I ordered from Zenni Optical, my youngest son had broken his glasses at school and I called our eye doctor to find out how much a pair of replacement frames would be and was told that the cheapest pair was around $60 for his glasses. At the time, there was no way I could afford to pay for them so he would have to tape them together and wait until the following month when I had the money for them. In the mean time, I read a review about Zenni and went to check them out.
The first thing I saw was that instead of the $19 eyeglasses that I expected to find there from the review I had previously read, they actually have eyeglasses available for only $8 per pair! These are perfect for my boys since they go through so many of them.

I have gotten eyeglasses for both of the boys and for myself as well from the $8.00 selection and been quite happy with them. To be honest, the $8 pairs of eyeglasses that I bought from Zenni for my boys have lasted just about as long as the ones that I bought from the optometrist, and those cost $60 for the frame alone. The ones from Zenni cost only $8 for the entire pair of glasses! They weren't quite as good of quality as the $60 ones, but then again, just think how many pairs of these you could buy for the cost of the $60 frames alone!
The first time I ordered, I bought each of the boys one pair of $8 glasses, and paid $4.95 shipping (flat rate for any order no matter what size) for a total of $20.95 for two complete pairs of eyeglasses!
Since then I have placed a couple more orders for replacement eyeglasses for the boys and a pair of eyeglasses for myself, plus a couple of pairs of the clip on sunglasses to go with them. This last order, I added on the anti reflective coating for only $4.95 per pair. There are also other premium upgrades available like tinted lenses or Photochromic lenses too if you like although I didn't order these.
If you have any trouble figuring out how to place your order, there is a section in the menu on the left side of the page that where you can find such general information such as, how to order, how to enter your prescription (from the prescription you get from your optometrist), how to choose a frame, and more.
It was really quick and easy to place my order from them. Just choose which style of frame, and which color you like. Fill in the numbers in the form from your prescription, and your shipping and billing information. They take all major credit cards to make payment easy.
I was also really impressed with the shipping too. Zenni says that orders take approximately two weeks, except for orders which require some extra, special or custom lab work like progressives, bifocals, custom sun tint, or extra strength prescriptions can take three to six days extra. So far I have ordered from them three times and my orders have ranged between 7 and 9 days to arrive.
