Thanks, Nancy for bringing this corporate contribution idea to the public. Unfortunately, I've only just now gotten here, so just found out about vermontteddybear.com's offer. I imagine it's now too late to send a message to a terrorist victims' family. However, I will keep them in mind (and put their link in my favorites directory) for future gifts. They sound worth the cost and they have shown their worth as a contributing member of corporate America.

Hi,
It was one of the highlights of my trip to VT. I actually won a contest on the tour and won a bear. Unfortunately it was only a small fuzzy one to wear on a jacket. I did make my own bear and it was fun. My daughter received one of these from a boyfriend and it is very well made. The company is great. Good cause.

It's wonderful how everyone including retailers and etailers are joining in the effort. I wanted to add that Vermont Teddy Bear is donating 500 of their stuffed animals but they would surely forward ones that are purchased too!
