SLOW! Took a month to tell me item backordered

So easy to shop and place the order online, yet communication is horrible. I placed an order Nov 27, 2007 in plenty of time for Christmas. I didn't have an order number, so I couldn't track it online. Since my card was never charged, I assumed the order was lost in cyberspace. One month later, 12/27, I receive an email telling me the item is backordered. It took them one month to communicate this to me. Bad service. When I called, the woman was very professional and helpful. She told me they will send the item when available, and as an apology it would be free. "Really? the whole thing is free?". She then double checked, put me on hold a long while, and turns out they offered to pay for shipping and a 20% discount. Not free. I refused. I actually found the item (Shut The Box) at Macy's for half the price. It was a Christmas gift, so too late. Wont order from here again.
