A Big Aussie - Marquis Philips Shiraz, 2003
by 4-1-1 | Oct 21 '04
Pros: Fairly inexpensive; jammy, dense and complete.   Cons: Can't think of anything flagrantly wrong. A slight bit alcoholic. May be had to find in some markets.

Salud, Tom. What else is there to say? Not difficult to understand, though. Your wine reviews pack a lot of information and are very reader-friendly.

ps. I bought a case of 1998 Beau Sejour Becot from winex.com, as you recommended in your review of the 2000 vintage. Alas, I missed the anniversary sale and had to purchase it at US$10 more per bottle (i.e., US$58 per bottle)than what you indicated.

Have enjoyed 2 of the bottles already, the 2nd one over dinner tonight. Thanks for the tip.

just seems that the meter keeps running. Don't understand it, and even think it's a little funny.
