I very much enjoy Indonesian food and I found it very easy to adjust to the local spices, flavors and scents when we lived there.

I miss gado2, kankung, ikan bakar. I prefer ayam bakar over the fried version, but I have tried Nonya's Suharti chicken, and yes, the flavor is very interesting.
