Hmm -- as they used to say. (Reply to this comment)

I came across this old diatribe and the subsequent comments by chance. The odor of bluster still rises, but much of what would have been thought clever and patriotic by some at the time now seems soggy as a freedom fry.

Hopefully, we have learned something from our wasted trillions of dollars and tidal waves of innocent blood.

Whatever happened to Osama bin Laden, anyway?

The old armchair troopers here better hope (as do I) that he doesn't have a going-away present for the Worst President in American History.

May our prayers be with Obama, for he will need them, in the mess GWB has left us.

I am a little late to the party so I know W won, again. Neener, neener, Democrats. ;-> Osama, if you are really still alive you will soon be a grease spot. America was not stupid enough to elect that Kerry creature. :->

Good job, sir!

Well Markham, you managed to massage every muscle in my face. Smile, snarl, smirk, snicker, sneer..... I love it when you decide to really sight-in on a target. I hope you posted this somewhere there is a decent sized readership.

I fear that next spring we´ll be seeing Kerry and Osama Shrine Circus sharing goat´s milk and making "peace". Hanoi redux.

Bush loses, bin Laden wins
Kerry wins, America loses

this schmuck does not have a better grasp of newspaper lead times. Had he released his little diatribe last Monday instead of on Friday, it might have gotten more air time and had a great affect!

"If someone did this to get back at Bush, then they did so by killing thousands of people who did not vote for him! Boston, New York, DC, and the planes' destination of California -- these were places that voted against Bush! Why kill them?"

- Michael Moore, Sept 12, 2001

How OBL and Kerry's criticisms of the administration seem to match so well. Who knew they thought so much alike?

little love poem to the World Trade Center's killer, before it disappears like his 9/12/01 "Why not Republicans only?" and Election 2002 screeds.

The Nazi pig is sub-Goebbelsian hellish filth that walks like a man, a moral coward unfit to clean out the chamberpots of his moral betters with his tongue.

Your smart a*s ranting and raving is not humorous at all. We have not learned anything from 9/11, as Osama says. Just because Bin Laden is a murderer and a terrorist it does not mean we can't follow his logic to a point. His accusations of American oppression and aggression are pretty accurate.

You are some kind of historian, if you see US intentions mostly honorable, with some unfortunate "collateral damage". What history have you been reading?
Probably not the one I have.
Regarding "for whom he wants us to vote against" (sic), there are excellent arguments to make that he wants Bush elected again. Bush has made his day! As he said, far from fighting terrorism, your Dubya has given it a great boost, and has set the whole world against the US.

Finally, you are incorrect in stating that we are winning: we are being humiliated, and we will walk out of there when our casualties are too big, and we will leave the country in a mess.

My feeling is that, if you really want to upset Osama, you should vote for Kerry.
