The Bottom Line: There is no reason to spend a grand for pretty looks, when this unit can't clean, door is troublesome, soap dispenser is poorly designed, and controls are hard to see.

This dishwasher does not clean well, the door sounds like an old barn door when opening, the racks are poorly designed that don't hold items very well. My old Jenn-air did a better job, for half the price... Soap dispenser door won't open if you have a casserole dish in the front lower rack, as it blocks the door from popping open...Even the cheapie GE's have a rotary door that works better...Not fond of the hidden controls either, have to push the start button 2 times to get to run...why have them hidden if they are still cryptic in design? Can't tell when the cycle is done, unless you bend down to look under the counter in the space 1/2 inch space above the dishwasher for a little blue light...Silverware comes out with food on it still, better hand wash before running through the dishwasher. The Stainless steel exterior shows everything, and is very fragile, our unit came with a dent in the front out of the box... We bought this dishwasher to match our Kitchen-Aid built in refrigerator, otherwise we would have picked something else.....why does e-pinions need 200 words to qualify for a full review?? My advice is to avoid this unit, read consumer reports & don't buy a unit because of cosmetics, or that it matches your other appliances...
