If you have teenagers in the house, especially girls, I'm sure you have seen several teen magazines on the newsstand or even laying around your house. With three daughters, I was constantly trying to keep up and monitor what kind of magazines they were reading and had in their possession. I was appalled when I flipped through some of these magazines to find mostly trash or articles that only shouted out that sex was ok and normal for teens. I didn't raise my kids that way. I raised them (or at least tried to) with morals and values. My oldest daughter was almost 4 years older than the twins and so she was allowed access to magazines that the younger two were not. Even so, I would frequently throw a magazine in the trash because of content.
When I received the first copy of Teen Trend Magazine, I was very impressed. While the magazine is not a large magazine, the contents in the 50 or so pages of each issue is loaded with information to encourage teens to grow and provides interesting articles on teens in a format and way that teens can readily relate.
Teen Trend Magazine
Teen Trend Magazine is published bi-monthly by Che Bella! Beauty, Inc. The publisher is our very own Candice923 is the publisher of this worthwhile magazine for teens.
The magazine features a Teen on the cover each month that has reached special recognition in their lives or a celebrity that is involved with charitable organizations, or works with other teens on projects to make a difference in the lives of others.
Unlike most magazines on the market for teens, Teen Trend Magazine is for both boys and girls. It is focused on teen readers aged 12-18. Each issue contains feature articles on various subjects and also regular features that are both fun and interesting to teens.
What You Will Find Inside
Each issue of teen trend contains feature articles. The "Girl Next Door" or "Boy Next Door" is usually the cover model and focuses on a story about their life, what they are doing to encourage teens, the key to their success, etc. Sometimes the cover model is a celebrity like Hunter Green or a regular teen who submitted an application to be the "Trendiest Teen in America" and happened to win, like Laura Gray from Indiana. Whichever the case may be, they are selected by being a role model for other teens.
College Profiles is a regular feature that gives a summary of information on selected colleges around the US.
Chart A Course This feature profiles someone that works in a specific job. The article is sometimes in an interview format and gives information on the job itself, how to become a (Dr., attorney, cop, etc.). It gives teens insight into fields they may be interested in and also fields they may not have given much thought to.
My Experience is a great section that is focused on real stories from teens. It includes real life experiences on a broad area of topics like health issues, dating, losing weight, hobbies, etc.
Fiction These stories include ones submitted by Teens to the Editor and are a fairly new addition to the magazine. If you have ever wanted to get your feet wet in freelance writing, give it a shot!

There are lots of other things in this magazine including fun stuff such as quizes, contests, graffiti lines, etc. and of course the regular Letters to the Editor and Editor's Note each month. Each month you will find fresh new content without all the fluff or questionable content you wouldn't want to subject your younger teens to.
My Thoughts On Teen Trend
I only wish this magazine was in publication when my teen girls were growing up. It is packed with fresh and wholesome information for teens who want to be a well rounded individual. It is for teens who want to go somewhere in life and want to be "somebody".
The magazine contains a lot of good information on a variety of subjects that both boys and girls would be interested in reading about. It's not just a magazine for girls to flip though pages of fashion ads of designs that barely cover. Fashions are also presented in a wholesome manner. The magazine focuses on family values. It is also a good price for the magazine. A subscription is only $10.00 and can be purchased online at www.teentrendmagazine.com
Overall, this is a very good magazine for teens of all ages and both sexes. I highly recommend it! Teen Trend Magazine gets 5 BIG Stars!
