AOSafety Sleep/Rest Foam Ear Plugs NRR32 are an item I rely on to get a good restful night's sleep. My son in law introduced me to them. He wears them every night. He works odd hours, sleeping in the morning when the children get up early for school. He uses them to block out those happy, chirpy morning voices. When he and my daughter stayed at my house . He told me these were terrific foam earplugs that will block out enough sound that you can sleep but not so much that you wouldn't hear a fire a or smoke alarm. My son in law got the large jug of foam ear plugs as a one of his Xmas presents this year.
Hubby snores so this is why I started using them. They worked like a charm to block out his snoring. When hubby is out of town I still use them. They block out noise but not all noise and I have a dog. If the dog barks I certainly hear that. Speaking of the dog the one problem I had with these is that for some reason my dog found one and decided to try and eat it. Luckily, I saw him chewing away and took a peek. I am sure I avoided an expensive trip to the vet. He's a very tiny dog and I don't know if this would have passed or how great it would have been trying to find it in his poop, if I'd even figured out he'd eaten it.
These do get dirty after a bit and but they are meant to be disposable.
The uses are endless, concert, hunting, noisy roommate issues, lawn work with noisy machines, yoga for concentration.
The AOSafety Sleep/Rest Foam Ear Plugs come in different colors, lime, soft orange, yellow and more. They are about 1 1/2" x 1/2" at the base with a molded, rounded tip. It's one size fits all. They are super for people who are married to someone who snores or have a noisey room mate. You can decide who wears what color and keep your earplugs from getting mixed up. I've also tried flents and the moldable day glow earplugs. Each has it's good points.
To insert you can moisten them with spit although after the first time I doubt you'll want to put them back in your mouth. You can use a lotion to moisten them. I do it dry without a problem. The spit sounds unsanitary, those were my s i l's instructions. I just twist them until they fit into my ear canal and they expand by themselves. They would be safe enough for a young child to use. These are also great for flying to block out crying children and engine noise. They would be excellent if you run heavy machinery or attend those loud concerts. If you do Yoga using these to block out any noise will help your concentration.
Keep these away from little children, they'll put anything in their mouths as will my dog.
These are such a pleasure. They are comfortable, easy to insert and can be bought in large quantities. They sell them by the jar full at local drug stores. I've become pretty dependant on them for a quiet night's sleep.
