I travel frequently on overnights with my laptop and some general presentation material for groups of about 20.
This bag has a wonderful appearence with the leather material. It's rugged, and only shows a few marks even after being checked a few times.
The bag holds my laptop, and all accessories, some notepads, presentation material packets (as many as 20) plus does a good job of keeping my dress shirts in a pressed state (light ironing of course, but I don't need to get them pressed when I get to town.)
I can put almost everything in this bag that I need, it won't hold my CPAP machine, but I have yet to find an overnight laptop bag that could even think about doing that and still qualify for carryon.
The retractable handle is well constructed, and while won't support me when I try to use it to lean on, doesn't show signs after a years use of any stress to the bag or the handle.
I'm very pleased with the storage options, the pen holders, not pad slots, mess pockets to see accessories including chargers, ear phones, docking station for my smartphone, cables, post-it notes, and holds ample business cards.
The bag is a little big for sholder carry, even thought the strap is very well designed with swivel clips that would probably hold the Tundra to the Train better than the clevis they use in the commercials.
