A pretty good list, Jeff, especially DR. STRANGELOVE.

The only thing I would add is that comedy may be too important to waste on those who only wish to laugh because laughter depends on having a victim. The majority find easy targets, but they forget, in the end, the joke is on them.

Well done.

I would absolutely agree with putting Blazing Saddles at the top. In fact, I agree with the entire list.

Mike is right, Spaceballs would have been an honourable mention for me.

Very nicely done,

You gotta love "The Princess Bride". Props for putting that and "The Naked Gun" on this list.

No "Spaceballs"?

To make a long story short...TOO LATE!! (Reply to this comment)

Jeff,

A fine list indeed...many of those films would appear on my top ten of all time. And I too must commend you on the listing of "Clue"...it's amazing the cult following this film has!

An fyi...it was Marty Feldman in "Young Frankenstein", not Corey Feldman. The thought actually scares me if Igor had been played by Corey Feldman (never mind the fact he would've been in diapers!).

Cheers,
David

Aww...Producers didn't make it? Dang. I saw that at the Kennedy Center and the play adaptation is even more flamboyantly funny than the movie.

Otherwise, I wholeheartedly agree. "Clue" is very funny, and I quote "The Princess Bride" all the time. Sad, eh?

Love,
Ali
