The remedy to a THIEVING 8.0% interest rate from Commerce Bank is Refinance.com & the extremely helpful & caring Gary Ayer! For our first mortgage: We had been repeatedly lied to & delayed by Commerce Bank this past summer, who after THREE months of waiting & them requesting the same information over & over [They MISPLACE private personal earning stmts & court documents AS A NORM apparently] Commerce called to tell us our loan finally closed, BUT THEY NEVER locked in the 6.3/4% we were quoted & we'd sd okay to. We were told the market was now @ 8.0%. THIS was NOT good news. But we were too tired to start over-we needed to close! After 4 months of TIGHTENED belts but ONTIME PYMNTS!!! We tried REFINANCE.com, Gary looked at our situation-asked several questions. & after talking to us about what we hoped for, he was blunt [in a very caring & UNDERSTANDING way], & HONEST. He told us he would try to get us the BEST deal possible... AS QUICKLY as he could. [ We had less than 2 wks before we'd be leaving on our honeymoon ].... I immediately sent him COPIES of EVERYTHING/ANYTHING that was on his list of required paperwork... [plus any extra info I thought may be needed & requested by the underwriters] He let us know he'd received everything sd he'd get started, & we crossed our fingers!
1 day later: We were approved & our rate was locked in.
after 2 days: Our house appraisal was performed.
after 3 days: The appraisal results were in & Gary went into overdrive. About 2 hours after the first call we were offered the 5.625%...FIVE.SIX TWO FIVE% rate with a 30yr FIXED mortg!!! & we happily accepted. About 2 hrs following that OUR LOAN CLOSED!!!
after FOUR & A HALF days: We signed all they paperwork to finalize the loan & IN OUR OWN HOME at that!!!
Refinance.com & specifically Mr. Gary Ayer are just Wonderful!!!!
