jtrujilo86's Full Review: Vizio VX32L 32 in. LCD TV
Back in December, I moved into a house with three other guys. The TV in the living room was a 13 incher, and trying to watch football or other sports on it was pitiful. Since I'm in college I don't watch much TV, but I couldn't pass up the deal I found on this 32" Vizio. I got it at Wal-Mart for just under $600 and for that price, I can't complain.
For being such a large television, it's pretty light. I was able to get it into my car, into my house, out of the box and on to our mantle by myself and I had it up and running in literally seconds. Set-up is a breeze and it comes with a large poster as a quick reference guide.
So far we've been really happy with it. I just ordered hi-def cable and haven't yet got the box for it, but with regular analog cable, I have no complaints about the picture. The sound is really sweet too, considering how small the speakers on the unit are.
The fact it came with a nifty stand that I didn't have to buy separate was cool too.
The only real downside I found was that it takes a while to start up when you hit the power button. From the time you hit the button to the time a picture shows up is about seven seconds. That's normal for flat-screen LCD televisions, but sometimes I get confused as to whether I actually turned it on or not.
