Was great ... now very defensive and poor warrantee

Long time users of E-Batts.com. Ordered a new battery for a pro level video camera. After 1 1/2 weeks it arrived. I tried to charge it but it would not accept a charge. E-Batts told me to discharge and recharge 4-7 times. I discharged it and tried to recharge. It would not take a charge. Overnight I smelled electrical shorting and then the brand new Canon recharger would not charge even the Canon battery. Called them, the tech support agreed to send a new battery and a charger since the Canon Charger (three times more expensive) was toasted by their battery. Ooops the management changed their mind, he agreed to a replacement battery but I had to buy the $59 charger. Good thing it didn't fry my new $4000.00 video camera. Well, I've now bought my last E-Batts battery. Their 100% warrantee is not much good. They will exchange the battery but accepts no fault for damaging you equipment. The replacement charger is not even close to same quality of Canon charger. The cannon charger has external power to camera where-as the E-Batts s only a battery charger. They wanted the Canon charger but since the external adapter part of the Canon still works and their charger does not offer this I can't send them a $175 charger for their $59 charger. Promises made, management breaks their word. They were nice in offering two day delivery on replacement, that sure was nice of them. Longtime user now a doubting Thomas.
