Well, now they have gone and done it! Now there is no reason for me to leave the comfort of my home! They put Old Navy on line!!! I remember we just recently got an Old Navy store at the mall. I can easily go there everyday and find something new to buy! But now it's online and I don't have to do that I can just click on over to OldNavy.com and I'm just loving it!
I can sit back and relax in my own home without the pressures of a sales associate trying to get me to purchase just one more item or apply for their exclusive store card (although I do have one LOL). Don't you just love technology these days? :) Shop when you want however long you want and you don't have to worry about your arm getting tired from holding everything.
Old Navy has an excellent quality of clothing for men, women and children at a fair price. Old Navy is owned by GAP and the styles are similar but the prices are not.
OldNavy.com is easy to navigate around. They have the categories broken up by:
Men
Women
Girls
Boys
Baby ~ Once you select Baby you can choose Boy, Girl, or Newborn. Boy and Girl sizes go up to 4T
Gifts ~ This offers for you to pick a gift pack out for a new baby or create your own basket.
Maternity (only available online)
Maternity, Men's, Women's, Girl's and Boy's are all broken up into different categories after you select them. You can choose Outerwear, Tops, Pants, Dresses/skirts (womens/girls only of course) and so on. This makes it easier to find what you are looking for.
So if you want a men's sweatshirt you would go to Men's then select the button sweatshirt and the page would load up with all the sweatshirt styles they have available. The selection size can range from one page up to 12 or more.
When a holiday or special occasion is coming up they have their This week in fashion where they feature the holiday and you can just click on that link and it will show you all it has available for what ever holiday it is this month (like the Flag Ts or their Halloween items or Christmas).
Occasionally they will have a link you can click for their Mark down Maddness and this is my favorite time to go shopping. They even have that broken up into the same categories after you click on the link.
Ofcourse since there aren't any sales associates to help you with your selection off to the left of whatever item you have chosen they always show one or two items that would go well with that particular item (and most of the time they are right) :). What a great way to get you to spend a little more money.
OldNavy.com also offers a customer care link so if you have a question that you want answered you can go here and see if they have the answer already typed out for you. If you find that your question cannot be answered they have a contact button on the same page that you can click on.
A nice little feature that I like is if you are shopping on OldNavy.com and you have to log off for some reason when you go back to the website your shopping bag still has the items you selected in it! This way you don't have to hunt down the product again.
If an item is out of stock when you click on it in bright red letters it will let you know that it's not available right now. When they have their clearance up and you find an item you like and it is unfortuantely not in the size you need or want it will let you know what is left for you to choose from and then that way you can decide if you want to purchase the item still.
I do wish that on the clearance items they would let you know what is available when you first choose the size and style/color that way you don't have to wait for the site to load just to have it say "were sorry but we are out of stock."
If you are ever unsatisfied with your order you can simply go to your local Old Navy store and return the items for an exchange or a refund. You can also return the items by mail (I have not done this yet so I can't comment on it). I like that you can take the items back to the store. This is easier for me to do instead of going to the post office and mailing it back to them. I have never had any problems doing returns at the Old Navy store. They have been polite and helpful.
OldNavy.com offers regular shipping (5 to 7 days) and RUSH delivery also for 9.00 extra.
Shipping costs are as followed:
up to $25 = $5.95
$25.01 to $50.00 = $6.95
$50.01 to $75.00 = $8.95
$75.01 to $100.00 = $9.95
$100.01 to $150.00 = $11.95
$150.01 to $200.00 = $12.95
$200.01 or more shipping is $14.95
I feel that OldNavy.com offer reasonable shipping charges to their customers.
If you join up on their mailing list they will e-mail you special offers and cupon codes from time to time. They also have been offering 10% off purchases of 75.00 or more. Shopping for clothing for a family of four makes it simple to go over the 75.00 requirement :).
If you have never been to an Old Navy store or do not have one around you I recommend you go and check out OldNavy.com. They have a huge selection for every member of the family (even the dog)!. The only thing I can think of to offer to keep in mind when shopping at OldNavy.com is to remember that their clothing line tends to run a bit smaller then other brands. I like to wear men's shirts in XL and I have to get XXL at Old Navy every time. This isn't too big of a surprise since GAP seems to be the same way.
The only clothing I notice that fits rather well is infant and toddler clothing so you don't need to get bigger sizes in that area unless you want to.
If you haven't been to OldNavy.com yet, I recommend the next time you feel like shopping online for some clothing go there first and see what they have to offer for you!
