Concert ticket prices are extremely high to begin with, and the prices that scalpers were getting were ridiculous. The movie is a nice idea so that all of the Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana fans can get to see her.
The movie run is being extended in my area, so maybe it will be held over in other markets as well.

We were very happy to hear they made this film for her fans who can't afford to see her Live.
My daughter had planned on taking them to see this but with the bad weather in NY they missed out the week it was scheduled to play. I heard on the news it would be extended.
She is such a talented singer and I would love for my 10 year old to see her in person too, but who can afford those ticket prices. Sold out after minutes of going on sale when she was touring in the NY area then see people were selling tickets for that show for over 3000.00 No way not in this lifetime!
Glad your family got to share in the Hannah Montana Craze... Great review.

We would love to go see this movie, but it is sold out. I am hoping it will hold over or be re-released soon, my 9 and 11 year old girls are dying to see it.
