Poor Customer Service

We purchased this Kitchenaid Microwave as part of a complete kitchen renovation. The unit started malfunctioning after a year and 3 months in December '07. We initially called Kitchenaid customer service (customer experience center) in late December they referred us to A&E. A&E came out, diagnosed the problem, and ordered two parts - scheduled to arrive on 1/8 they called on 1/8 to say that the parts were backordered.

We called Kitchenaid on the 8th to expedite. After 5 calls to Kitchenaid (1/8, 1/29, 2/1, 2/4 and 2/6) we still don't have the one needed part despite being told - that they "have been overnighted to us" on each occasion. Kitchenaid now has a "parts specialist" working on it - A&E says that panel shows as backordered to 3/28 in their system!

Regardless of what happens - I'm replacing this unit with a GE Monogram.
