We have used Fredlyn Nut Company for many years, at least a decade. If you are in a restaurant and need quality wholesale orders, or if you enjoy nuts a lot and want to pay a good price for exceptional nuts, you really should check this business out.
The Products
Their website is very easy to use. When looking for products, they are broken down by the nut type or the mix type. Here’s the main selections you have:
Almonds
Black Walnuts
Brazil Nuts
Cashews
English Walnuts
Fruit & Nut Mixes
Hazelnuts
Macadamia Nuts
Mixed Nuts
Peanuts
Pecans
Pine Nuts
Pistachios

The prices are excellent. I was in Sam’s Club today and there was a 8oz. jar of pistachios, cashews and pecans for $8.95. That’s $1.11 per ounce. How ridiculous! I would not pay that price at any time.
Just for instance, the almonds, you have many items to choose from, and they are not all the same! You could pick from the following:

You can always buy 5 pounds, and usually you will get a small discount for purchasing that amount or larger. This comes in handy when we purchase pecans for winter baking! We really have had terrific service with this company in person, online or by telephone.
We have placed orders for sometimes near 30 pounds of nuts. We will also order with my in-laws and combine shipping and get the 5 pound plus for one type of nuts. This year, when we ordered pecans, they called us to keep us apprised of the status. The shipment of pecans they received was not good enough to be shipped out. They nuts were not up to their quality.
They wanted to let us know, advise us of when their next shipment was expected and that they would let us know if they were high enough quality for them to complete our order.
Another item that we ordered was amaretto pecans (non-alcoholic, but absolutely delicious). The temperatures were in the mid-70’s. They are located in Texas. They called to advise that they will not ship out the nuts as it was too warm and they could melt. They advised they would wait until the temperatures cooled down and then ship the nuts when they knew it was cool enough and the nuts would not melt!
That is service. Some people might be upset because this delays their order. But, I think it’s excellent because it shows they take pride in the quality and they understand that when we get the product, they want it to be as it was when it leaves their business!
Shopping
They have their shipping prices listed on the front page so you know exactly what they will charge, for example, items up to $19.99 will cost $7.95 to ship. If you purchase from $150.00 to $200.00 in products, you will pay $24.95 for shipping.
They accept the following major credit cards:
Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover
Shipping is quick, unless you have certain circumstances that prevent shipping, as we have had. But, in those instances they made sure we were kept in the loop at all times. We were never left guessing about our order.
You do have an easy way to track online the orders. You can also have an address book in case you have multiple people that you want to send gifts to, making it easier the next time you order! They also provide nutritional information so that you can review what the product’s nutritional values are. That’s very handy, especially if you are trying something new and you do not know about the product!
They have other items, as mentioned that you can order besides just nuts. These items are fruit and nut mixes like Hawaiian Mix, Energy Mix, Cranberry Crunch and gift packs. These are wonderful too!
Overall Impressions
If you want excellent quality in product, excellent service in a company, and you enjoy nuts, this should be marked as a favorite on your browser! The nuts are excellent, never had a bad order and they have excellent flavor, roasted, raw, or salted. Give this site a shot for your nut orders. Whether you order personally or for a business, you will be glad that you shopped at this store!
