Dealcatcher is one of the largest purveyors of online deals. The website is basically focused on collecting and organizing different promotions, coupons, freebies, and the like so that consumers can save money on their online and offline purchases.
Selection / Content
One of the best reasons to use a site such as dealcatcher, which is large in size is that it has a great number of the major companies listed. I know that when I need a coupon or some sort of a deal, if it exists online, then most likely it is going to be on dealcatcher. Most of the time I find that I just assume that if it isn't on dealcatcher than there isn't a coupon available.
Another great aspect of the site is that it also shows rebates in addition to the coupons. This of course is great for major purchases that often times have $50-$500 rebates that you send away for. While the money isn't typically an immediate savings that you expect with a coupon, it is a great way to save a great chunk of money.
Ease of Use / Website Navigation
The site itself is organized in a variety of ways to make it easy for any type of user. For those that are just browsing the site to see what is available, there is a listing of some of the top deals, a listing for the most popular coupons, the new coupons, ones that are about to expire, and of course those that are from the major companies.
The site also includes a deal newsletter where you will be emailed on a regular basis the new deals that are available. This mailing is excellent as it means that you don't have to visit the site quite as frequently in order to ensure that you are taking advantage of all of the good discounts that you are eligible for when making purchases both online and offline.
Speed / Reliability
In the years that I have used the site, I have always found it to be incredibly fast. I cannot remember a single time that the site has ever been down in the years of using the site. This of course is important as I am very random in my purchases and typically I am not going to wait for dealcatcher to come back online before I make a purchase. Normally, when I want to make a purchase, I'm going to make it regardless of the discount, so I truly do rely on dealcatcher to be online and working and so far it hasn't let me down.
Customer Service / Satisfaction
While dealcatcher really doesn't have a customer service sort of setup, they do have the ability to be reached by consumers. There have been times when I reported coupons that are no good or don't exist anymore and they have responded quickly letting me know that the coupon was verified as being expired and removed. Knowing that they respond to even those requests to remove bad coupons shows me that they do care about their users.
Final Thoughts
If you are looking to save some money online, then you should most definitely consider using dealcatcher. It provides the best coupons with an easy to navigate interface.
