My Clearasil Story
I've been using Clearasil Ultra pads since I was a freshman in high school (currently a 1st year in college). I can honestly say that I had a total of 12 pimples over four years of high school.
When I came up to college things were getting a bit hectic and I forgot about using these pads after I ran out of my last package. While I had been getting many compliments on my perfect skin for the first few months of school, I immediately sprouted a good 20 pimples on my forehead and t-zone. I have never had to deal with acne in my life before! Still, with the pace my life was going at I attributed the pimples to stress and figured once I went home for Christmas break the acne would just disappear.
It didn't. It got worse. For two months I tried herbal scrubs, microdermabrasive kits, face masks, acne cream, astringent washes, and pretty much everything under the sun BUT returning to Clearasil. The acne would leave for a bit, and then come back full strength every other day. I was starting to accept that maybe my skin type was just inevitably changing, and I should get used to being a pimply college girl.
Finally, I made a stop to Walgreens, when it dawned on me... I had forgotten all about Clearasil pads! I bought myself a package of Clearasil Ultra. In about two days, what I had been battling for months (redness, and blotchy pimples) all but disappeared! My skin returned to the quality I was used to having it at- perfectly free of blemishes, redness, and any other imperfections.
Comparable Products
I LOVE Clearasil Ultra pads. They work when nothing else will! I really can't stress it enough. I've used a few other brands of pads (all of which worked well), but Clearasil is a standout. Price-wise, Clearasil definately beats Oxy. The texture of Clearasil pads (unlike Oxy and Noxzema) is "pocketed", which I find removes dead skin cells just as well as face-scrubs, but will not dry out the skin. Also the smell of Clearasil is without a doubt better than the strange gingery, spicy smell Noxzema leaves.
