I was alerted to the hungry site by a friend and have been to the site many times since then. I click on the free button to give so much food to the hungry, the breast cancer site for free mammograms, the literacy site for free reading material, the animal shelter site for feeding and housing animals, the rain forest site to help preserve the rain forests around the world. During the holidays I found the greater good network and found wonderful gifts for a very reasonable price and very excellent quality. Click on the fair trade link and see the wonderful items made by others in other countries. For myself I made a great and long needed purchase of wooden salad spoons. I had gotten tired of the plastic ones that break at every turn of use. I'm looked all around the rural area we live in and plastic was all they had. While clicking for all the hungry, animal, breast cancer, rain forest and literacy sites I decided to check the shopping link. There I found a beautiful set of hand made wooden salad fork and spoon. What a great addition to my kitchen and to my salad dishes. The prices are very reasonable and shipping is very quick. I recommend this site highly.
