Thanks for the comment! I wouldn't be surprised if Oprah eventually found this and got all excited, haha. I still give Buxbaum credit for writing something with strong substance and that was good enough to be picked up by Random House (especially since it's her first novel!).

Not sure if this is something I will rush out to read - I'd bet your review is superior to the book itself - but I did want to let you know how insightful your perspective was on it, especially regarding women's lit and the "free pass" that's given to almost anything that involves Oprah-esque "discovery of women's issues." Hehe...
