I had never really explored the wonderful world of books on tape until a friend of mine told me that she listened to them as she walked on the treadmill and it had made it easier to do on a regular basis.
Now, I am in no way promising that you will adhere to your exercise schedule any better than you do now if you use this club. But what I can tell you is something many of you may already know, books on tape are wonderful no matter what you are doing.
After talking to her about her experiences, I decided to explore the different things that were offered on tape in regards to what books were offered as well as browse through the different online stores. As things would have it, in my mail one day arrived an offer to join the Audio Book Club . After reading over the selections, I decided to read the guidelines of the club to see what they expected from me. As who has joined books or tape clubs can tell you, often they expect you to buy so many in a certain amount of time.
After checking it out, I noticed that they also had a web site. I decided to visit the online site and see what it was like. I prefer not having to mail anything back, and had already read that they would send out cards for you to either accept the months offer or decline. Having had experience with clubs that would allow you to simply visit their site to decline or accept the months offer, I really wanted to be able to do this, and was thrilled to find out that I could.
Selections
This club offers a very wide selection of titles to choose from. Fiction, self-help, non-fiction it doesn’t matter, this site offers it.
Customer Service
Right after I joined them, before my first shipment arrived, I received a bill for the selections that I had ordered. From my understanding, I was suppose to get my product before the bill. So I called the number that I had been given and spoke with someone that was very nice and very helpful. They in turn, spoke with a supervisor of theirs and informed me that I in fact did not have to pay anything until my product arrived. On top of that, they were most apologetic.
Prices
After comparing several online sites for their prices, Audio book club seemed to match the prices. I wish these things were cheaper, but if wishes were horses beggars could ride.
In Conclusion
I have not had any cause to use customer services again, they have shipped my orders promptly and always have a wide selection of titles to choose from.
