Skeeters 2nd Annual Christmas SongsDec 19 '04 Write an essay on this topic. The Bottom Line ____ A very Merry Christmas to everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the holidays. It's been a bit strained here on the homefront with my pending divorce. There is no Christmas tree, no shining stars, no glitter, no gifts. There are no warm fuzzies or holiday hugs. Divorce is such an ugly word, isn't it? Nevertheless, there is someone in this house that has the Christmas spirit. Yep, it's my Skeeter. He's been going around singing his own version of some traditional Christmas songs, just like he did last year. I thought I would share them with you in the hopes that they'll bring a smile to your face. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ First of all we have the Classic Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. You know Rover and Fido And Goofy and Pluto Lassie and Rascal And Benji and Toto. But do you recall The most famous Canine of all? Skeeter the long-nosed Puppy Had a very cold wet nose. And if you ever felt it You would even think it froze All of the big ol' Bull Dogs Used to bark and pull his chains They never let poor Skeeter Play in any cat-chase games. Then one foggy Christmas Eve Nedi came to say, "Skeeter with your nose so wet Why'd you bite that sweet ol Vet? Then all the Puppies loved him No more neutering, Hoo-Ray!!! Skeeter the long-nosed Canine, You're our Hero every day!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Then there's the wonderful "Up on the HouseTop".... Up on the Dog House Skeeter crawls Stretching out his long white paws. Ears pointed up and a tail that wags Hoping for goodies in Santa's bags. Bow Wow Wow It's time for chow. Bow Wow Wow It's time for chow Up on the dog house Yip Yip Yip Down through the chimney with Kibbles and Bits. First comes the red ones That taste like meat Oh, dear Santa What a treat Then come the yellows That taste like cheese They give me gas Making Mom say "pleaseeee???" Bow Wow Wow It's time for chow Bow Wow Wow It's time for chow Up on the dog house Yip Yip Yip Down through the chimney with Rawhide Chips. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ And don't we all love the tune of "Let It Snow"?.... Oh the weather outside is frightful And my Mom is so insightful She says if I've gotta go, Yellow Snow! Yellow Snow! Yellow Snow! It doesn't show signs of thawing And I stand here, hem and hawing My leg is raised up like so Yellow Snow! Yellow Snow! Yellow Snow! When I finally ease my plight How I hate having my rear sore But if you'll really let me in All the day long I'll just snore. The bladder is slowly filling And, My dear, I hope you're willing To let me out, don't say no. Yellow snow! Yellow snow! Yellow snow! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Here's wishing you all a very, very Merry Christmas.
