We've been married 6 years....but it's been coming apart for the past 2 or so. I've known it was headed in this direction for quite some time.

I wish I could say yes to that, but not this year. Finances are just too tight to do any kind of traveling right now. Fortunately my daughter has one of those nifty phones that you can email pictures from, so I get to see pictures of them often.

I know I loved his songs - and as long as you (and Skeeter) can come up with tomes like that you will be OK - divorce or not.

You know I wish you the best, little Neddi - and have a happy holiday season despite your troubles.
And I wish you the same too, Sweetie.
This too, will pass. My youngest daughter suffered through a painful divorce - Jude has suffered through two of them - and my youngest son lost his first wife when his daughters were still little - so we know sorrow.
It isn't the best of times, that's for sure. And it isn't fun. Gracious, I've shed more tears over the past coupla of months than in the past coupla of decades. Even so, it's the right thing.
And your ability to laugh and see the bright side (or maybe the yellow snow side) of life can get you through anything.
Yes, it can. And having the support of good friends. That can make all the difference.

I have been such a stranger lately, that I had no idea about the pending divorce. I feel so badly for you. Knowing you, I am sure that you gave it the 'ol girl scout try. Even though you are going thru this disconcerting time, I see that you still have your sense of humor. That a girl! That's why I love ya!

Oh, bless your heart. That's gotta be a pain. For me, it's just the lack of the holiday spirit. I've got all the trimmings, but I just don't wanna bother with all the work that's involved decorating.
But I know my kitter Fries sings a mean rendition of "Noel" by the Coyotes.

The Friendly Little Neighborhood Dog agrees that Skeeter is one talented pooch after hearing a most horrible renditioning of these holiday tunes by sub-standard human vocal chords. The general consensus amongst all the other hunds in the hood is this: "Quick! Get thee to Nashville and record those hits while the irons {and yellow snow} are still hot! We're talking platinum, limos, and 'Bits for life, baybee!"
Can't ya just see Skeeter riding around, basking in the glow of the media? He may not want it, though....he's having too much fun running after that yellow tabby that lives next door.
Your legal skillz shall come in handy as Skeeter's agent. No? And don't forget Chanukkah tunes for the Jews, and also a few ditties for Kwanzaa, too, to cover the full holiday spectrum. Ok?
He's working on those. But he's having a lotta trouble with Secretarys' Day, since he's never been nor ever had a Secretary. Got any ideas?
