These speakers admittedly look good and have decent sound quality, but even low end Pioneer and Jensen speakers sound better! Unless you block frequencies below about 75 hz these will sound just about like the original factory speakers. The highs are undefined, the mids come through very muddy and the bass is very wooden and poor sounding. Get another brand of speaker, most people buy these for the name and the looks; well there are much-better looking speakers and better sounding ones out there for the same price. You should really buy those instead! These speakers are not even that sensitive, in other words they need a decent amount of power in order to give out a decent volume. The factory speakers in my 1991 Mercury Capri , had much higher sound quality and had higher bass output than these did brand new and those speakers were seven years old!
The one good thing about these speakers is that they are easily installed within a vehicle due to their having multiple holes within which to place a screw.
