Moisturizing Gloves for eczema

Written: Feb 17 '08 (Updated Feb 17 '08)
Pros:Very soothing and healing for painful eczema
Cons:I haven't found any negatives to this product
The Bottom Line: I would highly recommend this product to any one suffering from painful eczema or dermatitis of the hands.

I recently bought a pair of these gloves from the Hammacher Schlemmer Catalog to use for the severe eczema on my hands caused by thirty five years of constant handwashing as a nurse. I have seen Dermatologists and even used one of the light box units trying to get something to work for the long term. The very first time I put these gloves on they felt cool and soothing. I wore them over night and the next morning my hands were better than they had been in years. I have tried literally 100's of different lotions and creams. Some of them helped for a while but none as much as these gloves did in just one night, and none of them had the healing properties I have experienced by wearing the gloves. After the second night of wear my skin was almost back to normal. I will be buying a second pair just to have on hand for future use. Thank you to whom ever came up with this product!! It's great!! Now we need someone to invent a glove for health care workers to use while at work that can be restorative instead of the latex and non latex types that cause so much damage to our hands but are part of the required personal protective equipment for our jobs.
