Where can these be found?! (Reply to this comment)
by ladoyle621
I suffer from extremely painful hand eczema and have found no relief. At the moment, my hands are so chapped and cracked that the simple task of taking a shower becomes daunting due to the burn caused by the shampoo. I would love to find these gloves somewhere but they are no longer carried on the Hammacher Schlemmer website that a previous poster listed.
Please help!!!

Hi Barbara,
I ordered the gloves from Hammacher Schlemmer.com They are called "moisturizing gloves" and are item number 71096. Right now they are on sale for $24.95 s&h which seems a bit steep for a pair of gloves but if they work it's cheap to me.
They have what is described as a polymer gel lining that contains mineral, olive, canola, jojoba,& grape seed oils, as well as vitamin E.
Hope this info helps....good luck!

If I can remember, I will ask the daughter the name of some medicated cream the doctor prescibed for her. I couldn't afford it, but the doctor gave us samples. It was almost $150 a tube, and it was so tiny, but it did work. It worked almost instantly. Our insurance won't cover it. I just keep asking the doctor for samples everytime we go in to see him. If he has them he will share them.

My daughter too has terrible problems with her hands. She is allergic to pencils, paper, soaps, and who knows what else...
We too have tried everything. Her hands were so bad when she was in kindergarten the teacher called me in for a conference and asked me if I was burning my own child!!! I had documentation at the doctors office of all the treatment we had tried. It really did look like someone had burned her though. Her hands were so bad from breaking out and the blisters that you couldn't make out any fingerprints.
She is 16 now, and still has this problem. Her hands are always fine in the summer when she is not in school. Two days after school starts they look like raw hamburger once again.
I am going to try these gloves. Where did you purchase yours? Can I still put her medication on under the gloves? Do you know what these gloves are made of?
Thanks for sharing!!
