I'm Not Against Using The Sticky Traps For Rats & Mice... (Reply to this comment)

...though I generally use D-Con in my basement now.

In fact, I find them to be more humane than the snap traps.

When the snap traps work, it's a quick death that usually comes from the mouse's neck getting broken.

But it has been known to come down on other parts to where the mouse is caught by a paw or tail and thrashes around until it exhausts itself to death--except that I end up taking the trap out a ways from my place and letting the mouse go before this happens.

With the sticky stuff, the mouse seems to die a lot faster.

But there is no place for sticky stuff when it comes to trapping birds.

Birds let back outside are free to be birds with the sky being the limit--and they don't go to someone else's home and chew up everything from food to clothing to photos to documents, nor have the done the same in your home.

The most pesky thing I've found birds to do around here is to take a crap on my windshield.

The only trap birds should deal with are those that capture them and release them elsewhere!

Thanks for the comment! Absolutely is unacceptable. I spoke with the management at the store closest to our home, apparently the opposition has been much, and the management assured me they don't use these sort of methods.

Take care!

This is ridiculous. There are humane options where birds can be caught and freed outside of the store. There is absolutely no need to use the sticky traps (which I would never use for rats/mice either). I hope this company gets in trouble for it.
