Bang For The Buck
Pros:Great action, light hearted nature, doesn't take itself to seriously.
Cons:It got a little out of hand a few times
The Bottom Line: Pretty good, it is every 15-year old guy's favorite movie. That means the 15 year old in all of us guys will love it.
I suppose that I am getting a little too old for these movies. I can ignore the entire jumping off of a jet and surviving ridiculous car chases. That is part of an action movie, but the lose me when a power hub that controls the entire east coast only has 3 guards stationed at it. I've been out to 3-mile-island a few times and there a snipers in towers. You don't just waltz right into these places. That being said this movie delivers exactly what it promises. Knock you out of your seat action with a light hearted feeling to it.
It is very similar to the other Die-hard movies in that John McClane whoops a bunch of terrorist butt. The language has toned down a good deal and so it is a little more kid friendly. It is still very violent and that should be taken into consideration. There are a few epic car chase like scenes that I love watching over and over. It doesn't make you feel like any less satisfied than the other movies have. In my opinion it is a perfect "modern-day" die hard installment. I would go see it again and I would recommend it to a friend, who likes action movies or the previous die hard movies.
