Horrible List, Amerian Idiot is a terrible album and not to mention Hanson, U2 and The Darkness. There were MUCH better albums in 04.

Nice list as usual...
Once again, it's surprising to see Hanson getting so much love in all of our year end summaries (or at least it would be surprising if I hadn't already heard how strong the music is). Penny & Me deserved so much more attention this year, but I was glad to see the mention of Hey which really stood out as a hidden gem among hidden gems...

Then again, why am I taking the opinion of someone who completely dismisses the two most important musical movements of the last 25 years (punk and rap) in his profile so seriously?

Um...American Idiot was a concept album about what America has become under our President...the whole point was to draw attention to the fact that he's doing a really sh*tty job...furthermore, Green Day comes from the very music that is MOST about political protest
Lastly, they've written plenty of songs that are non-political...in case you haven't noticed, they have been around for over a decade (closer to 15 years actually)...

Congrats on having the balls to have Hanson in your "best of" list. Underneath is a damn good record that far too many people overlooked for the sake of their own cred. Kudos.

Green Day has no right to be on this list. They can't even write a song without bashing the President. When they write a good album, put em on the list. Meanwhile, there are more Christian bands that you FORGOT TO PUT ON THE LIST (hint, hint). So drop Gree Day. Now.

Hanson, Matt? Hanson?!
Dude, you've got to put down the crack pipe :-)
Nah, just kidding. Great list, and I agree with 99% of them.

You're just kissing my *ss because you know I can kick it!!
Kidding...well, not about the kicking your *ss part...
Nice write-up. I too like "Fall To Pieces", but watching Scott Weiland's emaciated behind in the video is a little too much for me.
Y'know, you never told me whether you liked those Prince mixes I sent you.
Peace, beeyatch
