I second that. There are a few songs by them I like, but I wasn't all that impressed when everyone else went nuts about them and they played everything over and over.
Rumors-Lindsay Lohan: So the fact that Lindsay Lohan has a record deal, does that mean that if I show cleavage, dress like a slut, and can lip synch I can get one too? I just want to make sure before I have that sex change operation.
YES! Finally! It's so true! What is up with all these little girls suddenly turning into super mega star singers? Gee whiz. I thought it was great when Ashlee Simpson got busted on SNL. HAH!
Great review - tons of fun to read and I love how there was no holding back on anything. =D

While I don't seem to hate Kravitz's Lady as much as you, I can't help, every time I hear the song, thinking of the scene from Fargo with Mike Yanagita in the diner when he's choking back tears, saying "Oh Margie, you're such a super lady" with the thick Minnesotan accent...

How could you have a "most overplayed" category without Maroon Five in it?! Keane is, indeed, extremely boring and whiny, but I like the Killers. "Somebody Told Me" is really fun. Nina Skye, Kevin Lyttle, Ashlee Simpson... *barf* What a crappy year for music.

I ask as one of the blow-job givers who has felt extremely lonely about his blow-job-giver-ness since said (totally unregretted, totally unapologetic) blow-job.
Maybe you thought it was a bad album. But certainly not over-rated.
(The Killers, on the other hand: definitely over-rated)

The most disturbing thing to me was that whole purity ring dealie...
Joe gave her a "purity ring" when she was twelve, to be replaced by a wedding ring on her wedding day. It was to creepily urge her to remain a virgin. that petey pablo song is called "freek-a-leek" unless there's another song where he just rattles off girls' names in the chorus. of course, with petey, that's quite possible.

Creepy Manager of the Year: Can someone investigate Joe Simpson please? The way he talks about his daughters REALLY makes me wonder what type of relationship he wants to have with them.
