I always like to find a good bargain on the internet. I was looking for a particular pair of shoes for my boyfriend that apparently can sometimes be hard to find in the stores anymore, so I did a search online and came across Zappos.com.
What makes them different:
The very first thing that caught my attention was the fact that it's ALWAYS free shipping both ways. That's right! There's no minimum order to place, no specific time to order by, NOTHING. It's absolutely free. Usually when you purchase something you can expect to receive it in 4-5 business days. And you have a 365 day return policy to return the product if it isn't correct. They also include a free return label to make everything run much smoother.
Selection:
There are over 2 million items in stock and they have more than just shoes to purchase! Some of the items they sell are: Shoes, Clothing, Bags, Backpacks, Accessories, Eyewear and watches. They have things for children, men and women.
I have noticed that there have been many times where I can't find an item anywhere else, but Zappos.com always seems to have it. Particularly with the pair of shoes I was looking for. Even the website that MAKES the shoes didn't have what I wanted!
Customer Service:
I spoke to customer service once to ask a question about shoes sizes as my son was transitioning from boys to mens shoes. The woman I spoke with was very pleasant and answered all my questions. She treated me like I was the first call of the day and she was ready to take on the world! I could hear the smile in her voice. It's always nice to have someone on the phone that truly LIKES helping you when you need it!
Receiving the product:
When I have ordered shoes from Zappos.com I have always received them within a few short days. If I need to send an item back, I just print off the return label and ship them back out. Once they receive it, the refund is credited immediately (usually takes a few days from the first day I ship back). The shoes are always in perfect condition and the price is always reasonable.
