I first became acquainted with the newest member of the Johnson and Johnson product family in a magazine in a scratch and sniff advertisement. I did something I never do I went right out and bought a container of this powder. For whom did I buy this you ask? Because I have no babies my baby is five-years-old. I got this new powder for myself. I have tried other powders for adults without any positive results. When I found a baby powder without the baby powder smell I jumped on it.

I have always trusted the Johnson and Johnson brand for my children and their little tuchies and bodies, from the No Tears Shampoo and Body Wash to their other products to the Baby Powder. My mother even used the Johnson and Johnson brand when I was a child.

Johnson's Baby Powder Lavender and Chamomile's main ingredient is cornstarch, which is very absorbent, mild, cooling and silky smooth. The smell is absolutely heavenly, the perfect blend of lavender and chamomile. After a shower or bath this powder is the best way to baby yourself without smelling like one. This powder is hypoallergenic; dermatologist and allergy tested as well a clinically tested to prove mildness. If it is mild enough for a baby it is mild enough for me.

Directions for use:

For baby: Use everyday after bathes and diaper changes. To avoid inhalation keep powder away from baby's face, shake powder into your hand and smooth onto skin to keep babies skin to keep skin soft and smooth and to help absorb excess wetness to reduce chafing and irritation. Apply powder liberally and as often as necessary. (Inhalation of powder can lead to breathing problems)

For adults: Use everyday and after bathing or showering for a pleasant, soft, fresh and comfortable feeling. Do not inhale powder.

My Final Thoughts

I wish Johnson and Johnson had this variety of baby powder when my children were babies because the smell is calming and relaxing while providing the same great absorbency of the original Johnson’s baby powder.
