Pros: good phone range
Cons: phone deals are not what they seem to be
The Bottom Line: T Mobile is really a trashy company. They don't care about providing good customer services really. They only want to make fast money.

| ld_o9_09's Full Review: General Reviews of T-Mobile Customer Service |
My husband and I have been customers for T Mobile for over two years. I am very disappointed in their unfair service and the way their customers service representatives are trained. They don't answer your questions unless you really pin them down to the question and bring them back to the question repeatedly. Instead they will talk very fast while always expressing concern for your best interest and empathy for your situation, but trying to bamboozle you into something more than what you need or want, with an additional two year commitment! In the time we have been customers I have learned that they have made us purchase things we didn't want or need because we didn't know the difference at the time. Even though we asked detailed questions, instead of properly assisting us with correct and accurate information, they sold us items that were unwarranted. I truly hate the way this company operates and if all cell companies are doing the same, we are in trouble. I plan to look into other companies as soon as our second phone commitment is up in 2009.
Originally, I wanted wireless service through my computer because my husband and I had camping plans.
We called T Mobile because they are our cell phone company and we had the two year commitment arrangement already in action. However, while talking with a customer service representative, she insisted I purchase a thing to insert into our notebook computer. She didn't bother to inquire if my computer was blue tooth ready. Unfortunately, I am not as computer knowledgeable like some people are, but I believe I do pretty well considering I haven't grown up with this technology in ours public schools or in our home because computers were not so available then.
So I took this service representative at her word as someone who was knowledgeable in the field because she was employed to serve the general public in this area. I assumed that she did have my best interest in mind. After all, I had no reason to doubt T Mobile's integrity and the way they train their employees. However, I later learned shortly after, I should have been concerned. For the item arrived which I was to use to make my notebook access to the WWW and I had paid over 150.00 for this thing to T Mobile. I learned, after owning it for a short period that is was not compatible with our note book computer because is would not fit into my computer's slot. I called T Mobile. But, because I hadn't called within the 14 day limit, which is what I was told was their policy, I was stuck with this item and instructed to go to Radio Shack for some adapter to use with the item I'd all ready purchased from T Mobile and that it would probably cost us an additional 100.00.
Frustration abounds in this situation. Finally, I called my computer company because I had purchased three years of additional technical support along with our initial purchase. I learned through Dell that I didn't have to do any of these things as instructed by T Mobile because I was blue tooth ready with my computer. I began to understand blue tooth technology. So I called T Mobile back, they hooked me up with their own technical support who get me on line and he says, "Well, the technology is so vast and so new that our customer service people can not be informed in everything and that they probably were innocent while selling me things I didn't need." I insisted that I asked questions and relied upon their expertise so I could make the right choices, but they misdirected me and did not help me properly. You decide if what I say is right or not. Customer service is suppose to help the consumer, not take advantage of them and abuse their trust.
