The Bottom Line A sweetmeat that's simple and easy to make!
I started trying out new recipes. Here is a simple way of making Mysore-Pak(Chickpea flour sweet squares) which will be very soft and very tasty too.The one of the specialty sweets in India and every age group would love to taste them.If you really want to try out the best Chickpea sweet, one has to try from Sri Krishna Sweets. The taste is just superb and once the Chickpea is inside your mouth it just vanishes away in seconds because of the amount of ghee is used.During festival time, this sweet will be very easy for you to make and am sure friends will ask for the recipe.Try making and let me have your feebback. Method: Sieve Besan Flour. Powder Sugar in a mixie.(If needed) Warm Ghee on low heat.Let it not boil.Remove from fire, add besan flour and stir it till it is dissolved. Keep a thick bottom vessel on fire (or even a pressure pan is ideal),put the sugar and add very little water to it.Sugar will dissolve and start bubbling.Add the besan/ghee mixture slowly to it and stir till it leaves the sides of the vessel.Pour the mixture on a plate coated with ghee. Allow it to cool for a while and then cut into square/rectangular shape. Let it be further cooled for an hour so.Soft Mysore-Pak(Chickpea flour squares) and certainly delicious if you are fond of sweets. Keep away from Diabetics people. |
