Overall, I have been more than pleased with CSN Baby. My wife and I ordered a Simplicity Ellis dresser, changing table, and bed rails to match the crib we had gotten on sale at Target. The prices were great and the delivery was free, which is significant when you are talking over 100 lbs of wood (or pressed wood product, as it were.)
All of the items was on backorder with two different expected dates. This was prominently stated on the product description. The first date rolled around and all the products showed as shipped.
Issue #1: Only 2 of them came (in three boxes).
I called and they knew right away that since three UPS tracking numbers were fed into their system, the system incorrectly determined that everything shipped. The CSRs were very apologetic and knowledgeable. They credited my card immediately for the one item that showed as shipped but had not.
The item shipped directly from the manufacturer, so this seems to be one of the companies that provides a storefront and billing service but handles no actual inventory.
Issue #2: Upon opening the items, one was damaged.
The items were all packed carefully, but the damaged item was in the center of the shipping container. Therefore, the damage was done at the factory, not through shipping. I called again. Again, they were apologetic and helpful. They requested the part number and said the new one will ship this week. I was told to keep or discard the damaged piece.
In sum, I couldn't be happier with my experience using CSN baby.
