I now know that this is the only bra for me (oh wait I'm a guy) hey, I have to admit that when I saw the word, "jiggling," I was sitting in a room alone but I still blushed :))

Kind of Speechless Here..! (Reply to this comment)

I kind of got stuck on the "distracting your opponent" part. My wife and I have both practiced serious karate for many years. I think most women use "breast protectors," so any distraction from facing an overly-endowed woman have not even "popped up" (no pun intended!). In our sport, any distraction might well prove to be an advantage--the last time I was distracted by a woman opponent (this was early college), she was wearing so much makeup, that she looked like a clown! While I was trying to keep a straight face, she fairly viciously attacked me (I think she picked up on my energy). Generally, both men and women will pick up on the slightest drop in your focus, and capitalize on it, and sex doesn't even usually remotely come into "play." Nice review.

Always looking for a good bra! (Reply to this comment)

Ugh, I was just bra shopping yesterday. What a depressing event.
I remember a time when I couldn't find a decent underwire bra and now that I have said NO MORE UNDERWIRE - I can't find anything but underwire bras!
I would wear a good sports bra everyday - I am not very sporty...

Champion Action Shape (Sports) Bra (Reply to this comment)
by self41
I must confess that as a member of the female species, and retired field hockey sport's woman, I sit on pins and needles when large busted women jiggle, while flying down the astra-turf.

The men always have a totally different conception, no matter the species!

I also owned a really top of the line sports bra that lasted me over ten years, before the malic acid from my sweat finally eroded the fabric to shreds, believe me...

I'm to the point of flat chested, and I'm actually thinking about lifting weights for more muscles to my chest. I must agree that straps can really be a deterrent, or distraction from a hard competition.

My top of the line bra was gray in colour, fitted like the second skin, and was cross-strapped and anchored in place at the back.

Really good review

item and the review seem to have crossed over the millennium and from all appearances the review may outlast at least this century!

You mean no more bouncing?? (Reply to this comment)
by PattyTherre
This sounds like something for me. I have been trying to get away with cheap sports bras from K-Mart et al and they don't do what I need them to do. I still bounce. I hate to spend that kind of money on a sports bra but I spend it on regular ones without a thought. I think I will go see where I can pick one of these up. After all, the last thing I need is for my chest to ache after I work out and it does all the time. I feel like I have been playing catch with my breast and whoever was on the other end couldn't catch very well.

Thanks for he review!

I'll never need to buy one of these things, but it was interesting to see how the other half thought of such devices. Plus, any review with the word "uniboob" in it has to be great! *ROFL*

if I have another pizza and ice cream, this sports bra might come in handy, for me that is. The bathroom scale is screaming when I step on it. While this is a nonsensical comment, I would delete it if I could but since I cannot.....take care E5O!!!!

Nice review! (Reply to this comment)
by remnjava
I just wish I had a little more TO bounce, lol! Most of the sports bras I have worn give me that uniboob look, so then I look like I have one decent sized boob right in the middle, lol!

BTW, why the heck is Epinions, the Great Knowledgeable one with one heck of a database, pushing the "Ryobi 132R Electric Grass TrimmerPlus with SpeedSpool" to compare prices with at the bottom of your review? What does that have to do with sportsbras? You wear one to trim your lawn?

Oh well.

I will get one ASAP!!!! I am SOOOO tired of sports bras that are so tight my breasts are squished together in the middle and sqooshed under my armpits on the sides, or else are useless bits of fashion Spandex that allow excruciating bouncing and flopping.

To the guys who wonder why we worry - OK, I'm gonna get crude, but honest. . . Pretend your "eh-hems" are the size and weight of grapefruits. Take off your jocky shorts. Now jump up and down really hard. Or run really fast.

Ooooooooh, hurts just THINKING about it! Um hum!

Keeping Abreast of Bras (Reply to this comment)
by hirejack
Before succumbing to the temptation to get sidetracked on the subject of bras and their contents, I want to be certain that I attend to the subject at hand, i.e. the review itself.

The review skillfully adDRESSES the subject by focussing on the issues: comfort, utility, applicability, appearance. This makes me trust the reviewer.

The only flaw I found is the use of 'there' instead of 'their' which happens to all of us. It is one of those things the hands do while the mind is forging ahead in the sentence. It reminds me to be more attentive to reviewing my own review.

Now why would a guy read a review on bras? For me, I simply am interested in the female experience. I try to understand being in her shoes, er I mean bra. I would be lying though if I said I have no prurient interest in the subject even though I am now middle aged.

But! I am not going to go out an buy the bra, nor even try it on.

Micheal asked me to read this, just another squeamish man who looks at our undergarments as something to stay away from, unless they want to be childish. Still, well done!

This definitely sounds like a bra I need to check out! I absolutely hate having my chest squooshed together while wearing a sports bra. Thanks for the great tip, and excellent review:)

We men do wonder why you women worry so much about your breasts. Don't you know we are keeping our eyes on them for you? Happy to hear that it doesn't give the unibreast look. I hate that. God created two, so there should appear two. Sorry the bouncing boobs are painful, but I think most guys will agree with me that they are greatly appreciated. Excellent review Erin:)
