Well, I see that the Eep SAHM Nazis are not only alive and well, but continuing to spread their uniqe brand of joy and mirth throughout this place.

I just wonder what brought about this PMS rant? I mean, other than the smug, self-satisfied sense of superiority pulsing through her veins.

I particularly enjoyed the bizarre. frothing-at-the-mouth nonsense of how eep doesn't need to pay us. Really? It seems to me that it is our collective content that has allowed this place to last longer than a few weeks on the net. The very least they can do is throw a few pennies our way. But then, since Pippa is a typical Eep rectal remora, she won't understand that.

The real confusion here is why she felt it necessary to pollute this comment section with her narrow-minded, ignorant, hate-filled vomit? Maybe her hubby was at the local pub hiding from the frying pan, or maybe the other Eep Nazi-whores felt she hadn't met her quota of bitchiness for the week.

Congratulations, Pippa! You once again displayed the type of asshole-ishness we have come to expect from small people who think far too highly of themselves. Just like Fast-Food joint managers.

I bet you were the sort of (rhymes with hunt) that had a construction paper sash that read "Hall Monitor" in grammar school. Why not have that ramrod extracted from your colon, and just go away.

Sorry James.... you know I never delete comments of my own accord. Unlike some people, I own what I say.

However, some people are also whiney babies and ran to Brisbane crying because well... because they're whiny babies. heh. I was politely asked to remove it because some people couldn't handle having the truth out there about them...

So, again, Sorry James, for making your comment section look all out of kilter man..

Ah Does this mean that if I make it to one of the meet and greets that you and I won’t be engaged in some idle banter at the bar? Oh well. My loss I’m sure.

BTW how does my profile page equate me with, what was it you said, part of the “juvenile contingent” on the site? Not that I dispute that of course, I’m a card carrying founding member, I’m just curious as to how my profile page proves I’m one. All this time I though that it was our secret decoder rings and club handshake.

Could it be because I didn’t fill it with band wasting look how important I am here crap such as links and drop down boxes to shill my reviews? Perhaps it’s the lack of endless stats on hit counts and who loves me in my WOT banter. Oh I know it ‘s the lack of what type of get a life cyber geek I am information that’s not plastered there. Seriously there are some people that really need to turn off their PC and go out and play in the real world now and then, Who knows you might like it.

While we’re on the subject though, why is it that almost all the SAHM, (not all but the majority or so it seems) think it is important that we be informed of every nauseating detail of their family life on their profile page especially their children’s unfortunate illness.

Not that I am sympathetic to such issues and although I doubt you’ll believe it I am, but why the need to splash it all over the site? I prefer to keep parts of my life private as those who do know me her are well aware. It’s only this too. I don’t see much my partners can’t perform in the sack because..... blathered about here.

If a I was a cynical person I’d think it was some sort of defensive mechanism to deflect and prevent criticism form others on their writing ( and I use that term in the loosest definition possible) here on Eeeps. “Don’t you dare down rate my review you big meanie, I’m the mommy of a ( fill in the blank here).”

Mind I’m not a cynic so I wouldn’t dare to think that now would I.

Actually, until your comment I had no idea that you were in any way, shape, or form aligned with some of the more juvenile contingent on the site, but now that I actually look at your profile after your comment, I know that you getting a gift you didn't like was most likely karma. My reaction to your review was the usual distaste I feel when those who call themselves adults manage to find fault with everything. Boo hoo.. your $50 didn't show up last year before you cashed out. I bet I could find 100 other foreign members with no trouble who would have been glad of that extra cash and never said anything but thank you.

And how did you know I spent WEEKS crying over that "review"? Give me a break.

What gift. Howard Creech even contacted me to remind me to update my profile/address, whatever.

I have yet to see anything. If it is a digital camera, I wonder if they think I'll actually give up on film?

Not bloody likely, old sport.

You know, I never did start here for the money and I haven't seen a cent of it. So, if they ever do send me a gift, I'll just wait and see.

BTW, I wish I had read this commentary this morning. Your off-hand humor really hit me as I did read it at 5:30 pm Eastern time.

Well done, as usual!

Cheers,

Paul

Gee Pippa I'm hurt, no honest I am. Besides I never b*tch about Christmas Cards ask my wife. B*tch about having to write out the addresses on the envelopes sure, but about cards I get, never.

BTW I'm sure that your new found hostility towards moi has nothing to do with the b*itch slapping you received over a certain changing table review and a well known simian now is it?

As they used to say back in Spook school "there is no such thing as coincidence."

That is my point, maybe the CLs should have been consulted to ensure that there were no problems down the road. They know at least in theory, the TRs in their categories including vital stats like where they live and also could have made subtle suggests re "gift" selection.

Hi James,

No, I know nothing about how Eeps selected gifts to reviewers. It just struck me that with the ironic tone of your review that you might have come to that conclusion.

It just goes to show that you can look a gift horse in the mouth.

And rating this NH. It is my most sincere hope that Epinions doesn't give any of us with bubbles next to our names a single thing next year. No money, no nothing.

I have heard so much whining and caterwauling about this year's giveaways that most of the boards off the site sound like a bunch of toddlers whose lunch is late. Wow, you had to pay $40.00 in taxes for something crossing the border? Quelle suprise. If I was writing for a site based in Canada, I'd be anticipating the same thing, as well as having to wait longer to cash out. Hell, I have to jump through hoops to get back my GST every time I cross the border and spend money, and one would think my American passport and driver's license would exempt me. Maybe I'll piss and moan on the Ontario Tourism sites.

Epinions doesn't have to give us a darn thing. They could just as easily have pocketed the money, and none of us would be any the wiser. You could have taken that camera and regifted it or sold it, or donated it to a charity, but instead, let's spread the holiday spirit by whining about it. Is this how we act when we get gifts we might not have wanted or anticipated from our family and friends? Do they give us a list of things and say "Check the box?"

This should have been a win-win situation for all of us. We get something free and Eps gets some new reviews. Would I have bought the printer I got for myself? No. I wouldn't have. Am I happy anyway? Yes, because I got a really nice gift that I could have done anything I wanted with. Had I gotten a 3.2 MP camera? I'd have given it to a friend who doesn't have one, after reviewing it. Or donated it to a school, or something else. This isn't payment due, it's a gesture, and I think that people would do well to remember that.

Chris it is my hope that they will listen and learn. Things a re better here now than say 4-5 years ago but that's no excuse to stop trying to improve things, or allow things to slip back.

Re personal selection of gifts for moi there. Was that a hit oh hated one?

As to my glass, well lets just say I've BTDT and got the T-shirt so many times that I now no longer look at it as either half full/empty. It's what it is, the exact midpoint, and take it at that.

Now about that thong............

As of today there are four reviews of this particular camera here. The standard appears to be that it’s not very good. Translated it’s a piece of junk that ain’t selling well.

So just what makes you think that Eeps didn't select your personal gift perfectly?

Interesting perspective, but I hope that Epinions will gauge the success of this years give away based on the positive and negative feedback it receives.

From what I've seen with posts, e-mails and comments, you are in the 5% minority. I'm guessing that your glass is usually half empty, rather than half full.

Doc, like I said this was a nice idea and I do appreciate it in theory. But once again poorly thought out and executed and is ending up costing them, both in extra money and goodwill.

Leave off picking on my littel Dutch Muffin, that's my job. Besides he told me he's back on his meds.

40-dollar bet right here (Reply to this comment)
by oldcomixfan
But will it be more like a pool in which we guess the specific day for the whole jackpot or maybe, instead, the option of a specific week or so for a somewhat smaller pay-off?

If so, put down five bucks for each day between February 9th to the 17th. If not, put all of it on the 11th.

Keep an eye out for a carrier pigeon toting this wager up there to you - mailing it is definitely out of the question for now obvious reasons. Please allow 24 to 52 weeks for delivery barring any unfortunate incidents involving Alka-Seltzers, projectiles, or some Epinionator's hungry cat{s}.

Thanks and surrie fer thuh inconvents.
