60hz is where you'll see flicker (Reply to this comment)

60hz, except in the the case of an interlaced mode, is the lowest a a monitor will vertically refresh. It is the higher ranges, particularly 75hz and 85hz where flickering will no longer be noticable.

Yeah,it's good if you are in a pinch. But if you can spend the extra, I say go for a better monitor.
