I guess the greater lesson here is we should all stay away from companies that do not put customer satisfaction and service ahead of their own (small) financial gain. It seems that Flickr is afraid that customers will be knocking down their doors looking for refunds?
After my brief experience I can see why. The word deplorable comes to mind.
Buyer Beware.
The issues:
First, I tried to upload several batches of approx 400 photos. I had multiple frustrating errors that Flickr blamed on my otherwise perfectly functioning internet connection. Bad move. I even did a bandwidth test and everything was working fine at that time. It was the Flickr site and they weren't taking responsibility.
Second, I attempted to share the photos that I did successfully upload with my elderly parents. Simply put, they could not have designed an interface that could possibly be any less intuitive or any less user friendly.
Bottom line: not worth my money or my time. No refund policy. Not receptive to negative customer feedback.
