nhmills's Full Review: Miele S4210 Antares Bagged Canister Vacuum
Just got home from the store with my new S4210 Antares. It took less than 5 minuets to get it out of the box (which comes with a great carrying handle)get rid of the trash, and put it together. It is so much more quieter than I was expecting. I choose the Antares model because it comes with both the STB 205-2 Turbo Brush, and the Parquet Floor Brush. The turbo brush worked great on my wall to wall carpet as well as the hardwood floors. It is a breeze to push, and it is so light and easy to carry. I was pleasantly surprised with the great functional design features it has to store the wand when in use, as well as when it is in the closet. I was concerned that the brush was going to be to narrow, but once again I was surprised, I did not have to move my chairs to clean under them it went between the legs. The adjustable wand is not heavy or cumbersome as have been the case in the past. Miele has one of the longer cords on the market, 20 ft., but it could stand to be longer. I did a lot of research on canister vacuums, and I will say that with all the different models and various different attachments Miele offers it can be confusing. But if you go to miele.com you can compare all the models, and break down what is really right for your own use. Meile is one of the more expensive brands, but for all the ease of use and 7 year warranty, I plan to have it for a long time.
